Worshipping the savior Worshipping the savior

?Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.? Ps 40:5

The end of the year is fast upon us and as it comes to a close we find ourselves wanting to praise God for His works in our lives and the lives of those around us. As the verse says, if we were to try to speak of all of them they would be more than could be mentioned.

We thank Him for the many opportunities and circumstances that He brought into our lives, knowing that each of them was to work in conforming us to the image of His Son and to prepare us for every good work. Isn?t it wonderful that He cares so much about us and is patient and longsuffering? It truly is a privilege to be the child of the sovereign God.

We look forward now to 2006 and what the new adventures will be as we serve our Great God together with you. We are grateful that we can count on you, knowing that without prayer and financial support we would be eliminated from serving the Lord in other countries. We thank our Father every day for you all. We are thankful to be a part of a great team of God?s servants.

Having reduced our furlough schedule by half, we were not able to get to all of our supporting churches. We are grieved about that but trust that the next time home we will be able to be with you. We want you to know however, that what God has done over this last four years in Peru has been because all of our churches have been faithful. We were not able to review the years with you; nonetheless, you were a tremendous part of the fruit.

So, with this letter of appreciation to all of our friends and family, comes an appreciation for the reason of our service. God loved us so much that He sent His only Son to this World as our gift for Salvation. Because He was willing to go to the cross, die, be buried and rise again, we too can enjoy Eternal Life. What a great God and Savior we have. Give thanks to Him this Christmas Season. Thank you for allowing us to represent you in serving cross culturally so that others might come to understand this gift that God gave to the World.

Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!
